Frozen Repsage

Looks like there's been a super secret freeze on reps, eh?

Noticed that I've dealt repz to a few "high net worth" individuals. Their rep # changed right away, then about an hour later I looked again and their rep was back to same old same old. Also, I've been + repped a few times with net worth change.

Mods getting all fiddly with the dials, methinks!!

Time for a good old fashioned witch burning … I've got a pitchfork at home, anyone got old-timey style torches?

How do I know people appreciate the devaluing of the board that I achieve if not for the repz.

Exactly!!

I know we've all got a TON of self-worth wrapped up in the rep score. How can I know how much I'm worth if the repz don't change?

A terrible state of affairs, says I.

It was frozen months ago, started with my rep total and then that was roughly the max; some people are one point above or below.

I blame ginger for this and everything that was once NBR goodness

So it would appear that I wasn't actually paying that much attention to "that which defines my self worth". wups.

I actually only noticed when I dealt a +rep to go-t. I saw that we were very close to equal, then my + pushed him past me … until it didn't.

You can still go down, KenN. So the road only goes one way, figuratively speaking

This is interesting. Wonder if there was an internal maximum set at some point.

If we could figure out how to reset it, we probably would! (This is a good indicator as to the hypothesis that we've somehow intentionally frozen rep.)

at first glance i thought the value of 21474849 looked like the digit pattern of a 32bit int max value (2,147,483,647) but it's not quite even if you divide by 100, so um yeah that really proved nothing

Well, if we done broke the repz system then there's some satisfaction to be had right there. But I can't rest as long as west has one more than me.

Can we trade our repz for beer yet?

I gave some repz here to test it out. Everyone's repz went up after handing out, but after hitting refresh people with high repz numbers reset to the rep they had beforehand. Person with low repz kept the new ones…

Instead of getting points, the repped person should be sent a link to some awesome fap material.
