"Flu" Vaccine: Who got one?

I was going to bump the other Swine Flu thread but figured a fresh start should be in order. Did you know if you say no to the Vaccine in the States, you're a felon?

I got the flu and they gave me tamiflu pills. I didn't take them, just wanted the note and the prescription so that I can show it at work and not have to get the shot.

On a side note, I never realized The Matrix was a documentary.

At this point I expect no one on this board has unless they have underlying health conditions or work in health care.

One person I work with is home with it. She only suffered for a few days. Her husband on the other hand go pretty sick.

I may need your paper work. I don't doubt that international travel will be restricted without proof of shot and i have places to go.

pretty sure I already got the flu a few weeks ago. was pretty ill for 4-5 days. made for some quality time between me and daytime TV.

Just drink lots of juice and water, and cough a lot.

if they arent testing people, how can they confirm its H1N1? I think its the biggest crock of shite. last actual data from testing was that 1-2% of people tested that had influenza were actaully H1N1 infected. then they stopped testing.

I got it because I have two small kids and play a doctor on TV.

i saw something about this in the paper the other day, here's link to something a bit older. it seems they are testing, but somehow i still don't give a fuck so pass me the microchip when your done.

Lady my gf works with got the shot on monday. She didn't come in to work on tuesday because of body aches and cold sweats apparently.

We usually have access to the vaccines pretty early since I work in a hospital-esque setting, but we haven't had a clinic yet. The only person at work who's gotten the vaccine is the receptionist because she has to be in contact with all you savages all day long.

I'll get it as soon as I can though, provided I haven't been sick by then.
