Sorry…. but it all went down hill since Asteriods. Everything sucks since then. (except maybe Contra… that was pretty good… and Prince of Persia was fun… then Doom came out and….)

Asteriods (Delux) table top version was the best… I spent some of my finest Uni days at the Cecil with a role of quarters, a pint of beer and a clear view of the stage (when it wasn't my turn of course).

The gun in Duck Hunt (or Duh ckhunt as we used to call it) worked by looking for a special character that was strobed across the screen. You couldn't see this marker but the gun could. The game knew where you were pointing the gun by reading the position of the marker when you pulled the trigger. It all happened so fast that you couldn't tell.

HALO for being the best damn multiplayer game around in terms of battlemode style. shit we have games with 16 people that take like 9 hours to finish a capture the flag game.

and the other best is the newbie SPLINTER CELL. damn great game. will revolutionize that genre. the attention to detail was amazing and was truly hard to play because you couldn't rambo your way through it. well the later levels at least.
