I dont care how much i weight, cause ive always weighed more then normal cause of my body type and mucles and what not.. but i do need to loose alot of inches.. i want to fit into all my jeans i have from grade 9, thankfully i havent gotten any taller so they would fit if i was small enough. :lol: we eat good food, lots of veggies and fruits, lots of chicken and soups and whole grains yogert and what not.. but i seem to be stuck.. i need to work out but i lack motivation, will power and all that. and like cam said riding doesnt do much.. im gonna try doing spins, sounds good and a variety of sit ups .. when i get money im gonna get some sort of dancing arobics movie, or maybe carmen electras stripping arobics :eek:

One of these days when I find a good place to go to, I'm going to learn Capoeira or however it's spelled. And if anyone's noticed, I've changed my avatar to a Homer/Iori which means I've gained a lot of weight…I've got my man boobs back..damn it
Down 75 since January, Lifting weights has been the greatest thing ever.
However it sucks dropping $500+ in clothes just to know in a couple more months they are gonna be too big.

Whatever anyone does, don't do the Atkins diet! It's so unhealthy. And, you'll just gain your weight back anyway. It's all water. So I hear.
I calculated it…you can only eat the equiv. of 11 olives worth of carbs a day on that diet. How are you supposed to get your energy?
I read a study that 96% of dieters on a atkins plan had put back on or more of thier weight after one year.
Only longterm soloution is lifestyle changes. I just find that I need to kickstart it a few times a year to shake off some bad habits(like drinking excessive amounts of beer) Im going to cut out the booze and sugery snacks for the next 60 days and try to ride my bike into work one day a week (38km each way) on top of my regular riding.

Send me a message we could start doing a cross country night rides up to seymour then fromme during the week. doing 1/2 tripple crown 1 time a week sans beer should help with the weight loss.
I cant get out mountain biking on the shore any more than I already do. Work and kids keep a guy pretty busy. Right now I climb Sumas once per week for a two hour ride, Usually shuttle the shore once a week at night and hit somthing sweet on the weekends like eagle or the woodlot that requires a big hike-a-bike. add in 80 clicks on the roadbike and I should be doing pretty good. Ive been forgoing my weekend epics for Whistler or shuttles latley so that has to change.

If you do a proper CKD diet (what atkins is based on) you include a carb up day.
Most focused or fad diets are un-sustainable, but good for short term weight loss. I agree with Rat, the only longterm solution is to change your lifestyle. Eat better, exercise regularly.
I blame it all on Zedbra and his force feeding me Stella for the last two months. It all started going downhill on our roadtrip.
