ive gotta admit i dont see what the big deal is.
the idea of a puter display i wear on my face, that prevents me from seeing my hands/keyboard makes it a no sale.
but maybe im just a grumpy old man..

who says you can't see your hands (yet) in vr? think bigger, we now entering the time of cheap sensors everywhere. it will be quite easy to combine something like a much better version of kinect with vr displays.
Its mind blowing to put modern technology in perspective. Essentially all the "cool" things have been around for maybe 20 years, imagine the technology available in 40 years.
By the time I'm too feeble to do fun stuff, I fully expect a Very Realistic VR that can replicate damn near any environment. My 80s will be spent like my teens - avoiding responsibility and playing video games.
