Zion National Park is an amazing, mind-blowing place. "Nature on Steroids" as my buddy in Utah put it. We also hit up the old Red Bull Rampage site on Kolob Terrace Road just outside the park. Some crazy stuff still there like Bender's Jaw Dropper (I think that was the one). Lots of hike-up/ride down cool session/flow drops and jumps built all over the place by locals, MTB-regular bums and sponsored/pro riders who drift through the area.

highly recommended and camping is free in many designated spots on the mesas (no amenities but that's the way camping should be) - the canyoneering was one of the coolest things I've experienced in life, I wish we had more time to do some more routes and I could easily spend a month hiking and tripping around Zion. Conversely, now I really want to do some hiking on the west coast and Cape Scott is on the list, thanks for posting the pictures man

Cape scott is amazing! We went there for my Gf's birthday, definitely wont forget that one. It's about a one and a half to two hour drive on gravel out of port hardy. Highly recommend popping in on San joseph bay while you're there as well. Its maybe an 45 minute walk in the wrong direction from the parking lot, but the sea stacks are worth checkin out.
There's an old danish settlement up there some neat stuff you could easily spend a day looking for as well.
We camped at Nels bight and hiked to the lighthouse from there the next day.. then came back chilled on the beach and watched the whales out in in the bay the entire time.

After spending a week living downtown Vancouver I am so grateful to live on the Island. Not to say there isn't cool stuff here, the crowds take away from it for me personally. Rad pics guys, keep it up!

Ive been to Waterton a few times. Its a beautiful park. I dont know about biking, but there are many awesome hikes. Crypt Lake, Carthew-alderson loop, Rowe Lakes are just a few well known ones. Its a pretty unique place, where the praries meet the Rockies. Lots of wildlife, including Grizzlies. If you have the time, I would highly recommend crossing the border into Montana and visiting Glacier Natl Park. It shares the border with Waterton. It is spectactular. Between Glacier and Waterton parks, the hiking options are pretty much endless. Lots of bears.

Lots of hiking, really only 1 bike trail, it is an old double track road that nature is reclaiming so a few diversions.
Went through there and Glacier back in 2014. Spent lots of time in both parks growing up as I lived in the East Kootenays at the time.

Last week there was a stretch of nice weather so I went for a road ride. It was the first actual bike ride in almost half a year.

I went to Gros Morne when I was in Scouts. We did the normal hike to the summit and camped at a backcountry site. It was awesome, the first time I ever hiked on snow in the summer. I have friends who have gone on big wall climbing trips to various fjords, and their pictures are incredible.
Note that the toursim marketing never mentions the mosquitoes and blackflies, which can be hellish depending on where you are, and the time of year.
