Enough politics and bickering already..
If not them then a bunch of other people were there just for the day when we showed up. There was a topless chick there anyway. Said she lived in her van
Why is that not part of your photo essay?
Or we could do rad shit AND discuss politics / "bitch".
Seriously though, looks like an awesome time and beauty photos.

It seemed a little too made up, you know? like how often do you hike in the remote wilderness and run into hot half naked chicks.

Years ago I was pretty active in the Vancouver section of the Alpine Club, and had organized a trip to climb the south ridge of Welch Peak in the Cheam Range. I had been contacted by a guy from Chilliwack who wanted to come along with a couple of friends. I explained that the route was a fairly casual class 3 scramble, but more than just a steep hike, and asked about his and his friends' experience. His answers were somewhat vague, but you can stop at any point on the ridge and descend back to Williamson Lake, so I wasn't too worried about it.
We meet them out in the 'Wack on a Saturday morning, and this guy has a giant monster truck and looks like he just came from watching and/or participating in a UFC fight. His friends are a guy with a similar appearance, and a crazy hot east European girl who is wearing very short shorts and high heeled boots. Definitely not the usual ACC demographic, but whatever, they were keen to get going.
We hike the steep trail up to Williamson Lake and scramble up to the base of the south ridge, which is a hot 2+ hour effort from the vehicles. At this point, the three of them say that they've had enough, and are just going to relax on the ridge for a bit, and would then head back down to their truck. I make sure they know how to get back down the trail, and then get the rest of the group organized to head up the ridge.
Before leaving, I turn around to check one last time that they are going to be OK on their own, and find that the girl has stripped down to an almost micro bikini and is lounging on a large boulder, and the guys are getting into a 6-pack. They assured me that they would be fine, and it seemed like they were going to have a more enjoyable afternoon than I was.
We never saw them again, and I have no idea what their story was. It definitely had a "too made up" feel to it.

ya know, the last five posts were just getting good and then you go and drop this turd on us.
sheesh.
We don't know what our limits are, so to start something with the idea of being limited actually ends up limiting us.

Sa-weeet. Always loved that area of the island, especially that part along Hwy 4 between Alberni and the West Coast. Looks and feels like paradise.
