Just heard this morning that he won’t be reopening his Twit account. He says why would I when my own social media site is doing so well.

I am torn between emotions.  I am sad for the people losing their jobs or being forced to work 80 hours a week, but I am happy that Musk is destroying Twitter in the process.  It doesn't serve any useful purpose except for lazy journalists.

That is why I am excited for Twitter to implode.  Maybe they will at least need to call the people before they can write what either of them said.  As it is now every brain fart from anyone remotely newsworthy becomes a story because it was on Twitter.
