Musk is the 2nd biggest dickhead in amerika next to trump. Why would one buy a car from this monster?

Nobody arrested Musk.
Nobody stopped the workers streaming into his plant either. The workers, to be sure, weren’t entering in solidarity with their hyperventilating boss. Quite the opposite. They had good reason to suspect anything Musk might have to say safety-related. Within the auto industry, Musk’s Tesla has become notorious for operating in wanton disregard of safety standards. Safety violations at the Fremont plant, Forbes reported last year, have “dwarfed” the violation totals at other big American auto plants.
So why, given Tesla’s sorry safety record, did workers go back to work when the company’s own Return to Work playbook offered no gameplan for testing returning employees for the coronavirus?
The simple reason: The workers at the Fremont plant didn’t have much choice. If they didn’t return, a Tesla email informed them, they would go on “unpaid leave” status. And they also, Tesla not so subtly threatened, could find themselves losing their state unemployment benefits.

How is this morally different than trump forcing workers back to their meat processing jobs?

they already have a working process in shanghai? it’s not like he is the only one open the car plants, gm and ford opened at the same weekend, as did the german plants.
Did those workers also get an "or else" e-mail?
Alameda County was the only county in California that was not allowing re-opening of manufacturing facilities. The wisdom of any re-opening is debatable, but Tesla at least deserves a level playing field with other manufacturers.

Life really must be depressing for you. Have you considered heroin as a lifestyle choice?
You can regard it pointless, of course, that is your perogative. But how is it self important to suggest Tesla workers deserve the same safety standards as everbody else? It's more self-less than anything else.

I wouldn’t worry to much about KenN’s post, when it comes to most things Tesla he has a bit of a blind spot.

The virus isn’t fair, if Tesla’s plant is in the wrong place than too bad, Tesla stockholders be dammed.
This is just another billionaire putting profits before safety.

On July 24, 2020, Tesla’s Elon Musk wrote on Twitter that a second U.S. “government stimulus package is not in the best interests of the people.” Someone responded to Musk soon after, “You know what wasn’t in the best interest of people? The U.S. government organizing a coup against Evo Morales in Bolivia so you could obtain the lithium there.” Musk then wrote: “We will coup whoever we want! Deal with it.”
