They should pit for battery swaps.

that's an even longer pit stop than just a vehicle swap

Personally, I kind of like it, although I generally disapprove retro cars (yes, Mini, Beetle and co., I'm looking at you)

I absolutely admire American business' ability to pick up on ideas and run with them.

The EV revolution is fantastic, and that car is brilliant.

Whats even more amazing is that it still manages to get 100 miles to a charge, in a vehicle that is clearly not made to be long range - its all performance.

This just shows how far behind, or how uninterested, the major auto manufacturers are right now.

Would love to take thing for a spin to Whistler and back.

Zero to full output power in 37 millisecs … You'd need a Leatt brace just to take a drive.

That's what I'm talkin bout!

i did. it also seems there are more than a couple EV daly drivers in our city. i forgot the key thing about new technologies of the recent years (like smartphones for example): the speed with which people adopt them in sufficient numbers increased from a couple of years to a couple of months. even in our little corner of the earth…

4wd with more range and quicker 0-60 acceleration. Also, now it can be programmed to come pick you up autonomously at a preset time. Also now with 360 degree sonar, long range radar and image recognition to read street signs. next thing they are working on is it plugging itself in to charge.

so awesome

I'd love it … but it doesn't look like it'll be available to retrofit on my S.

Website is already updated, so the D is available for order … now.

0-60 in 3.2 puts it in some pretty heady space. Not many production cars live there.
