Was thinking about it until I heard places have been booked for like 3 years. Astronomy nerds I guess. Careful when viewing.

Getting out of there afterwards will give Trump a day of news without him as the focal point.
I tried booking a room along the path in Oregon. Either no availability, or upwards of $1100 a night.
So I will watch from here. We'll get 90% of totality. Peaks around 10:15am Monday morning.
I'm just gonna drive down tonight, watch, then turn around and drive back. Should be a fun 30 hours or so.
