But they are so cuuuuute! Whenever I see people on the side of the highway trying to get a bear photo op I lay on my horn trying to scare the bear.
A friend who used to work as a park warden at Jasper told me they would regularly get reports that traffic on one of the roads in/out of the park was backed up due to tourists stopping to take pictures of bears/elk/goats. The usual solution was to discreetly park somewhere nearby and fire off a couple of shotgun rounds to scare away the wildlife and get traffic moving again.

I know a bear biologist who does education to keep them from becoming garbage bears but sez a number of bears need to be destroyed every year , mostly its about to encroaching civilization, its happening everywhere in the world with all kinds of animals
They're amenity migrants, just like the rest of us.
