When I was a kid there was a cul-de-sac near my house where we used to play street hockey.
One, rejected, childless spinster of an old lady decided to try and put a stop to it but she was a little outnumbered. Turned out she was one of the only people living next to the cul-de-sac that didn't have a kid playing street hockey there. :lol:
Eventually we worked out a compromise and made a schedule that would allow us to play and not bother her too much.
Even as a kid I still couldn't understand how one person could affect the fun of so many families. The parents loved the street hockey. They could see us playing from their balconies. On the weekends dads would sit outside, drink beer and cheer us on lol.
