wtf? any more info?
australia was actually founded by criminals and its original purpose was for england to send over its criminals so the brits wouldnt have to deal with them in England, minding this was over 100 yrs ago.
Gotta love how the woman blatantly lies to him about letting him keep his basketball pole.
Being cheap is OK. Being a clueless sanctimonious condescending douchebag is just Vlad's MO.
Maybe the neighbor would rather have the kids in the neighborhood causing trouble than playing basketball.
Pathetic
If I were the kids, I would invent a new game…..instead of shooting for a basket, shoot for the neighbour's car…..instead of a basketball, maybe use a balloon full of brake fluid.
Absolutely bizarre. How much did that cost? 3 cops, loader, d truck and city workers all on a Saturday morning. I hope they know which neighbor bitched and said neighbor is left to endure eternal burning bags of dogshit on their stoop.
The world is a funny place.
If you look at google maps, this guy lives on a dead end street - there's only 3 basketball hoops on the entire street. This guy lives on the outter side of a corner and the road is widened there with normally parking being nose in. Kids playing basketball with his pole wouls not be in the way of cars as a general rule. The pole further up the street toward the exit of the road is the one that probably caused the problem. It's a narrow section of road, near the entrance to the subdivision and so all cars exiting the area would have to pass. I imagine that if kids were playing there, it would be disruptive to traffic, especially depending on the kids' attitude.
hello america, obesity is goin up even more!
i love youtube. it totally changes the game.
pathetic
That county needs to upgrade their loader.

so road hockey should be banned on every street that isn't wide enough to allow them to play and have a car pass at the same time too?
That's the problem with cities, they're refuges for the weak, the fish that didn't evolve.
I don't want to google this - sounds like a thing that NSMB will be better at.
citys are for fools
Ha Ha! Made you look.

No, I'm not saying that at all. I have no problem with any of those BB poles where they were. I'm saying that whoever complained and set the city on the issue was probably primarily concerned with the one pole I pointed out.
Can you not see that the pole at the widened corner doesn't appear to be a problem, yet the one I pointed out could cause some drivers inconvenience?
and, again - I personally have never minded the inconvenience of road-sports. Why would I deny kids hours of fun to prevent the loss of a few seconds of my time?
I laughed when two patrol cars pulled up in front of my house and forced my kids to tear down the snow barrier they built. Such drama over a 8" tall wall of snow.
Obesity wins again!
