I'd give it a 80-85%. I was playing it with surround sound speakers cranked and a scripted panel dropping scared me shitless in plain daylight :eek: . The game is good…. the graphics are amazing to say the least, I'm running a 5700 right now and it's running a decent frame at low quality, 800x600. The gameplay isn't very revolutionary or special though, it's pretty much run, shoot and do stuff….a few zombies pop out of corners here but nothing amazing, it is solid though. The AI isn't too great, but hell, they're zombies right? Pretty much let them see you, run and hide around a corner and as soon as they come by, let them taste some hot boomstick via shotgun and it's a one shot kill pretty much everytime (except with the big baddies)

PS- Ross, no need in OC'ing your comp to the max, the game relies heavily on your video card for the most part, your standard OC will run it fine.

PPS-I also can't wait until I get the 9800 Pro 256 MB installed (Monday)

arrrrghhh. I got doom 3 like 15 minutes ago,loaded it up and it won't play. something about cd/dvd emulation software running. Not sure what they're talking about. I don't remember loading any of that software on.

Anyone have any ideas?

It's the CD protection thing they have.

You installed it right? Find a crack to play with no cds.

and OC helps take some load of vid also speeds up loading times :D and keeps ram faster

I havent been scared much yet.. had headphones on cranked.. but i had my hair feel like its standing on end a few times

oh, btw warez is bad kids…. we only use the crack cause our cd drives are broken and cant take the cd :cool:

i got it from a unnammed source.. but I will not give it out to anymore else due to I bought the product , I will only offer places to get it and let them do the searching

If you happen to come accross a particular torrent file on a particular torrent site, the full version of said particular file will contain an object known as a 'cd crack'.
