Can someone explain the Michael Flynn issue to me? All I am reading is "Michael Flynn discussed sanctions with Russia and then mislead the Whitehouse and said that he didn't discuss sanctions…". Obviously I can understand that at face value, but what is this really saying?

I do find the left wings paranoia of anything to do with Russia somewhat amusing.
I realize the danger Putin poses, his ambitions, his history.
But are we to seriously believe that there is a vast conspiracy here of Russian double agents, with Donald Trump as their leader, taking over the White House, and selling the US to Russia? Is this where the narrative leads?
Not to mention this doesn't at all fit with Trumps anti-China narrative, considering the close ties between Russia and China.
This sounds about as realistic as all the Far Right wing theories about Sandy Hook being a false flag.
The most tragic thing about Trump is not him, or his comments, or anything else directly related to him- whats truly tragic is that his election really exposed just how divided the US is, and instead of getting better its only getting more polarized.
