Dog Trainer

Hi NBR.

I have recently added a new family member; a puppy and she is Great pyrenees x catahoula.
She is currently 8 weeks old, 9 weeks this coming saturda and she's had her first set of vaccinations
Her name is Peaches

I have been socializing her with bunch of people and now I'm looking to take her to a puppy training classes. Any recommendations? I do have discount coupon for pet's mart training classes but not sure how they are and no classes for this pup until 10 weeks at pet's mart.

I also found Dizine Canine with their early start training for the pup at 8 weeks.

I absolutely swear by Anne Jackson , her training methods are bombproof and work. I have had several friends who I've recommended her too.

Ann is good/great if your dog is treat oriented. We have a coonhound and he was not the least bit interested in treats as a puppy so it was ineffective for us.

It's better to start them early at being toy driven instead of treat driven IMHO. I take my dogs to Granville Island Pet Hospital and they have recommended Dizine to me before (although I always wanted to take Alice to Dogstars and turn her into a famous movie dog.) ;)

Ah dog training… The one topic that makes me cringe at dinner parties and socials. Once my wife gets on topic you should curl up with a blanket and a hot chocolate. It's going to be a long info session….
