With a few exceptions, there is a whole lot of terrible taste in this thread. And while I don't wear or own a watch, the people who complain about the money spent on nice watching need to get over it; everyone spends money on stupid shit. At least a nice watch isn't something stupid like a bad tattoo or a man-necklace or some ridiculous diamond earrings…

i always pictured you as a pocket watch guy. perhaps with a dungeons and dragons logo on the side.

I'd sacrifice a small herd of farm animals to own one of those. Possibly my favorite watch.

Really, farm animals, it's a $2,500 watch I bet your bike cost more.

Tight. Those are such a good looking watch next to some of the older Omega Seamaster pieces.

I got this from my dad for high school graduation and it's still going strong. Only changed the battery once in 9 years.

I'd say a watch is almost a fashion accessory now. I only really wear mine when dressing up, and when I do I still check my phone for the time out of habit most of the time. I was upset, because my need for a watch that expensive fresh out of school was non existent. Another lens would have been more appropriate, secondly if I was going to spend that much on a watch I would go for something more suave then a Nixon, also it looks exactly like the rest of the "Player" line up but costs over 1000 more. Not to mention I had already been given a very nice watch earlier.

Taste is subjective, knowing you, I going to go out on a limb and guess these are more your taste.

or something more techy

or a simple pocket watch.

What do I care? It obviously wouldnt be my livestock.

Anyways, yes I could afford to buy a watch for $2,500 but unless I'm making way more than I am now…..I'd never be able to justify that kind of cash on a watch.
