Sooo, finally got the time to watch this movie on Sat night. Wow, great film. The story was well done start to finish, great storyline and some damn hilarious bits.
The scene where the gang of rednecks is about to torch Django's camp was just too funny. You know, the bit where nobody can see through the eyeholes. Then the one guy leaves - "my wife worked all day to make thirty bags for you guys and this it the thanks she gets?" Genuine lol material.

Tarentino always has a character in his own movies which is cool the violence is just a genre in fact Tarentino movies have become a genre, once you got past the violence in pulp fiction it was really just the everyday banter of a couple of working guys they could be plumbers or landscapers talking about religion/women/money but they are hit men …same banter

Oddly enough, I just saw it for sale at a Safeway in North Van today. I'm assuming someone is writting a strongly worded letter to get it out of there as we speak either in regards to the content, or to the $25.99 price tag. Anyway, I saw it in the theater, I thought some parts were hilarious, and Christopher Waltz was awesome in it, as well as Inglorious Bastards. However, my gf at the time (who is black), cried and almost walked out a few times. She did laugh at the kkk dudes struggling with their eyeholes though. I mean, that shit was hilarious!
