Deferring BC Property Tax

I'm considering deferring my property tax (since we have kids, we qualify). What is the feeling of the masses? Offer is a ~3.2% interest rate...so seems attractive since I can make more than that with mutual funds.

I thot you had to be old as in 55 + ?

Remember, that's SIMPLE interest. Your investments will give compound interest. The longer you defer, the better deal you get!

Taxes should be tied to ability to pay, which Horgan's cash grabs aren't. I'd rather pay my fair share every year, but until the asset taxes are gone I'm willing to defer and wait for the government to change.
