I'm using it now and it's good. I installed classic shell and it's the same as running Windows 7.

This. Win 8 is rock solid. Anyone bashing it is doing so for the wrong reasons.

just picked up the microsoft surface pro 3. pretty impressed with it so far, and i have been a die hard aapl fanboi for a long time but with school and work i have been doing a lot of financial modeling in excel and the loss of short cut efficiency i was facing by using my mac drove me to buy this. its pretty sweet, very powerful, and its actually quite asthetically pleasing.

I havent had any issues with win 8 yet…
