New single from Horrendous. These guys seem to be hitting it out of the park. Excited for their next full length!

Too Acoustic these days...Mikeal has lost his death metal voice judging from all the recent footage of shows I have seen.

He's just gotten terrible.

TBH, I've never listened to Opeth. I should really give it a try, I just find that they are soooo hyped. I've just got to try and keep an open mind and not expect them to be the best band evar, as per their fanbase…

Ride, don't slide.

i generally don't like proggy shit (short attention span and all), but i did like a bit of opeth for a bit back when. haven't listened in a few years, tho. blackwater park wasn't bad; firing it up now…

A few new tracks on the death metal side of things that have caught my ear, as of late. First, a nice homage to the Cynic/Athiest/Pestilence days of yore, courtesy of Defeated Sanity:

Next, a thoroughly new school tech track from Virvum:

And finally, some fresh sludge from Ulcerate:

For real, best metal album Ive heard in years - Vektor "Terminal Redux". Pure hesher thrashiness… The last track continues to blow my mind.
