3 Feet High and Rising was an anthem for us in High School, as was anything by the Native Tongues. I also distinctly remember the morning Much Music aired this video, just before I was heading off to class..

I've had the pleasure of seeing a lot of hip-hop groups live - including Tribe, Pharcyde and De La Soul.

De La Soul are far and away the best hip-hop crew live. Watching them live is seeing greatness at work. They are probably one of the best live performances I've seen from any genre of music. Tribe is still probably my favourite to listen to on the ipod - but they don't hold a candle to De La in concert.

If you ever have the opportunity to see De La put on a live performance you have to go. You won't regret it.

Ha, yeah. I just stuck on Go See The Doctor, which impressed my wife :D
