I say we 'fall back' a half hour at the next change and just leave it there for forever.
I'm totally on board with that sir!

Daylight Saving(s) Time all the time!!! Not only are the long hours of daylight in the evenings great, but who wants the sunrise at 4:00 in the morning??
Apparently the farmers of Saskatchewan do. They don't punch a clock.
If they don't punch a clock then why would they care what the clock says when the sun comes up?
Because most of their livestock get up with the Sun?
So the cows have clocks?
I think every mammal but a cat has a normal circadian rhythm. And cats are just super awesome lazy - they have one but I dont think they care to use it.
split the time change down the middle and leave it as if it never happened.

no. leave it DST.
We're another step closer to not doing this stupid time shift twice a year.

just shift forward 10 minutes at the beginning of the month for 6 months then shift back 10 minutes each month ;-)
I never set my clocks back. I am writing this message one hour into the future. We have jet packs.

No thank you Satan.
Only my opinion but I would rather stay on standard time or leave it as is.
Who wants to wait till 9:30 in the morning for daylight in the depth of winter? Who wants their kids going to school in the dark? A lot of us work construction and don’t start till daylight. Not many of us want to work nine to five. I in particular work civil construction, you know, the ones who shut down your commuting routes. DST means lane closures will go through both rush hours, not to mention all the construction guys that will be added to rush hour traffic. There are other reasons to be sure. But staying with DST only to get more daylight after dinner to me is silly. We’ve made it this far just fine.Besides, night riding is fun!
There's a valid case for staying on standard time as opposed to DST, but this spring forward/fall back nonsense is absolutely terrible.
I have no strong opinion on it, the number of daylight hours stays the same either way.
The most annoying part of the time change for me has been the discrepancy between North America and Europe. In Europe DST starts 2 weeks later and ends 1 week earlier. I work a lot with people in Europe and twice a year the schedule gets messed up because the time zone difference temporarily goes out of sync. Weekly meetings all of a sudden are either 1 hour earlier or later depending on who put it in the shared calendar, resulting in confusion and missed meetings.
I'm all for permanent DST for selfish reasons, and 90% of the people I talk to about it feel the same way. I'm leaving for work in the dark regardless, and extra daylight when I'm off work is a huge boost in daily value for me. What really pisses me off is when I leave for work, AND come home from work in the dark.
I have lived in the north before and I know the dark morning is far less of a bother to me than the dark afternoon, so I am all for DST all year. Plus, who doesn't love the long daylight hours after work for a ride or whatever? That is an hour more light for my kid to more safely play with her friends after school.
I don't care if we stick to DST or standard time. Just pick one and make it permanent.
Compromise. Move the clock forward by half an hour get the best of both worlds.
