And it begins.

Kevin O’Leary, Shark Tank host and leading Conservative leadership candidate, floats the idea that Senate seats should be bought.

A bit of insight on how venerable of a man Kevin O'Leary is; http://www.nationalobserver.com/2016/01/26/news/real-and-shocking-story-kevin-olearys-business-career

Couldn't agree more. This quote from him; "Elect me as Prime Minister for 15 minutes. I will make unions illegal. Anybody who remains a union member will be thrown in jail." The Conservatives are gonna lose a lot of votes [HTML_REMOVED] a lot of credibility if they bring him on in any capacity. It sounds like he's in love with himself.

On the Canadian trump-o-meter, I think Kellie Leitch is well ahead of O'Leary.

Sure, he's had more exposure, and Trudeau is an amateur. But Trudeau has Bill Morneau, who in my opinion is far better qualified to opine on financial anything than Mr. Wonderful.

Whoa. It's 2018 now?

Looks like 83% of people think buying senate seats is a bad idea.

Oh yeah unions are dragging this country down

trump said alot of things on the campaign trail basicly anything the audience wanted to hear people who know shit say well yeah ditching NAFTA will be as bad for america as it will for Canada

He hasnt a clue how much of what he said he will do is actually doable but doesn't really matter cuz he is king at least for while

would Canadians be as stupid as our American cousins to believe all that stuff is the real question?

On a per capita basis I believe yes, that is possible.

As an aside I think it would be just fabulous to have O'Leary lead the Cons. into third party status!

Freedom of contract. We sell them guns that kill them; they sell us drugs that kill us.

After one year, I wouldn't say much has changed financially. Hey has and some PR blunders, but financially has he changed anything? I think the concern with O'Leary is that he would make big changes, and it would likely be for the worse.

what exactly do you think he CAN change ?

we are part of the world all he can do is react, he can maybe speed up or slow down whatever is happening but Canada is really just a spit in the bucket

O'leary and leitch can and will say say whatever cuz the americans were stupid enough so it could work again right?

I'm happy Trudeau has kept arms to the Saudi's going, championing global trade pacts built by the worlds best lobbyists and building pipelines across Caanada. Go "the-left" go.

That said, O'Leary makes my shit look palatable.

We're fucking doomed.
