Technically, even people from PG are allowed to buy online. Where in your OP did you say you were looking for a retailer in BC?

I'm looking at getting one as well, spent a bunch of time researching different ones last night (there is a lot of cheap shit on Ebay). Seems like DOD makes decent cams, and they have a Canadian division you can buy directly.

I prefer to buy things from a brick and mortar store,so when it doesn't work,I can bring it back instead of mailing it off to god knows where.

why not just use a gopro? They have the 2 hour setting where it automatically wipes itself and the basic kit comes with an adhesive mount you could just leave on your dashboard.
