Danzig at the Commodore, Aug 27th

Anyone else planning on going? They just added the Vancouver show.

Should be sweet as it's a 25th Anniversary tour of the debut album. I can't believe it's been that long… Doyle will be playing guitar too, so I'd imagine some Misfits would be in the mix as well!

I'm out of town, but I'd like to see him do Misfits songs, some Samhain would be cool to. I saw Danzig once and he's not much of a showman. He just stands there a flexes a lot. Kind of like Rollins, only in pants.

I may go, hope he plays a lot from the first album………50$ kinda pricey but would satisfy my bucket list of bands that I haven't seen.

I agree that Danzig 1 was a great album. I saw him on the Danzig 3 tour and they played the big songs from 1 and 2. I remember that 3 had a rocking start. For about 8 bars and then the rest of it just slowed right down. As a teenager, I was disappointed.
