J5, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, Kool Keith, Public Enemy - lot's of good hip hop stuff out there - commercial hip hop is shi$ though. I don't care much for pop punk either, but that's just my opinion - whatever gets you in the mood to ride is all good.
