i tried it for a 4-5 weeks. it was noticable for the first 2 days then fizzled to nothing real fast.
it's pretty cheap if you buy it from a chinatown but it's expensive everywhere else.
if your gonna try it buy the japanese red reishi(around $20-30/lb) the cheaper stuff=the suxxor.

they come just like they look when they're picked(just dried out).
when you get them just soak 20-30grams in a cup of water over night. next day cut them up in 1" chunks then boil the shrooms along with the cup of water on a low-slow boil(1hour). keep the pot covered and add water when necessary.
let it cool down then refrigerate.
start off by taking 1-1.5 ounces in the morning. after 2 weeks you want to be drinking the equivalent of 3-5 grams(dried shroom) in one shot/dose.
btw: this shit is really bitter.

ummm, as your doctor i recommend against riding with a scaphoid fracture.
