Cracker crumbles Sopel's back
Brent Sopel had a fight with a cracker. And the cracker won.
The reason defenceman Brent Sopel was out of the lineup Wednesday was "He picked up a cracker yesterday [Tuesday] and his back blew out and just spasmed out," said Canucks coach Alain Vigneault to the Vancouver Province.
Seriously?

Anyway, if Sopel can't stoop down to pick something up with confidence, I doubt he can stay healthy for the whole playoffs.

well the crappy white spot burgers they sell at the concessions are 9.75 so a beer must be close to that, when you add the seat the guy was in was $135 bucks or so, (or more if he bought it from a scalper,) he must be quite flush in the dough department.

I just loved the fact that they used the super fancy tele-illustrator to score the pyramid as it rose to greatness and when that wasn't enough they replicated it on-set. Quality television that you would only find in canucklestan.

don't think it was that simple. he had to have surgery after the game to get pins inserted.
