This has to be one of the lamest covers I have ever heard. Im not sure if true, but I thought I read that Weezer only did the cover because they had fans pressuring them to do it. It shows in the result, a totally uninspired cover IMO.

Motörhead, they.do several covers but Sympathy for the Devil is my favourite. Maybe not better but good, Cake’s version of Warpigs. And for those into jazz or swing, Paul Anka’s version of Wonderwall. Better than Oasis, but maybe I’m showing my age.
I recently downloaded a live acoustic Metallica album that is top drawer. They do a Deep Purple cover that is pretty good.
Def not that chicks cover of Kate Bush' s Running up that hill. Wonder why some artists even bother.

nah man, before the plague reached Europe, they had the cat purge bc witch hunts. Then the fleas spread from the uncontrolled rat populations.
Might not be better, but its a hell of an interpretation..
