The Rolling Thunder group has not been clear about the cause they’re rallying for, except to say that they will be in Ottawa to “peacefully celebrate our freedom.”
Sounds more like a party than a rally or protest. That is how you get turnout!

But they did go as far as saying that if they weren't permitted to roll their thunder, "things will get ugly". So no real goal, but they damn well mean business!
So they're protesting for their right to roll thunder?
Well, for one, they want the freedom to have a known racist give a speech at the foot of the veterans' memorial.
