I heard they don't like Honda fits cause they're not good in crosswinds.
And one of them leased an Acura TL.

That ^^is the thing about politics it is SO political
in any case don't forget the real question is still
did the truckers finaly get their way boys ?
some one might be standing around with his dick in his hand
but I duno whom it is at this point ?
Kind of, but even when this all started pretty much everyone was expecting the mandates to soon be lifted anyway. It's like demanding fireworks for the 4th of July and then patting yourself on the back.
Of course I think what they really wanted was to burn Trudeau at the stake so extending his term through a negotiation with a turban wearing brown guy probably stings for a lot of them.
this ^^^ yup JT is locked and loaded till 25 and please dude its convoy protesters, the real truckers were on the road trucking
more charges ^^ the protesters are about to find out how stupid it is to break laws and incite insurrection cuz they don't like the color of JT's socks
this was interesting Canada doesnt ^^ actualy have freedom of speech
FREEDUMB !

I wonder what the brown guys who attended the protest think of this...come to think of it, there were more than 5 brown guys. Where is Majin when you need him?
seriously ? Between the preponderence of confederate flags, Nazi swastikas, the racist leanings of the various groups i wouldn't say the Ottawa protest convoy was good place for anyone but white christian folk and i don't remember seeing any brown people in any of the protest convoy coverage

The old ‘Can’t be any racism, Convoy has a black friend’ argument. Classic.
Aren't like 90% of Canadian truckers from the Punjab region? If this protest was an accurate reflection of the profession it would have been a few whites in a sea of brown.
"That's when another guy, he came out of his truck and he was, like, being racist. He was saying, 'Go back to your truck, go back to India,"' recalled Singh, a 28-year-old driver from Edmonton.

The artical talked about how 16-18 % of Truckers in Canada are south azn, theydon't give a fuck about the anti vax mandate and they are all vaxed
BUT again the protest Convoys was not about the vax and they were Whacko nut jobs ... not truckers
Ok...most of my posts here have been just to poke the daydrinker with a stick, but ive found it to be more than a little disturbing how the narrative is so very different depending on where you look for information. Where is the impartial reporting these days in Canada?
Im deeply disturbed by the cbc's slant on a lot of their reporting these days. They used to be the mainstay for straight goods reporting. So strange how things have changes.

Oooh, thanks for posting that one - really forgot about this gem.
Guess in the end it all comes down to a person's perspective and their experiences, again and again. And both are prone to change with age, I guess.
Personally, I do not think that the news stations I follow in my area are that different from decades before, it is just that there is more variety (even the dumb ones) that are easier to find and follow in today's age of digital everything. Every writing (or thinking) challenged individual can start a serious vlog/blog/podcast/news site without so much as any serious training or thinking. And since us humans tend to follow emotions and notions and feelings first, critical thinking is sometimes a bit underrepresented.
From the outside looking in, it looks as if the Convoy was as democratic and diverse as the storming of the capitol in Washington DC last year. Yes, the people who were part of each event thought of themselves as fighting for freedom and democracy, but failed to see that their doings were not really democratic nor diverse in the sense that different opinions or people were simply not accepted but violently opposed, division at its best.
Such behaviour has been labelled "fascist" by historians for quite some time now, as a short check of what Bennito Mussolini's original ideas were and where the term comes from (fasciis) might show. But then again, this takes critical thinking and reflection, even of one's own thoughts and actions, to new heights and my experience is that not too many are willing to do so.

If you are at a rally and people there are waving nazi and confederate flags, and nothing is done about it..... you are at a nazi/white supremacist rally.
Remember the part where the rally organisers told those douchebags to leave? Or when they found the PM staff photographer conveniently there with them taking pics?
Yeah.....awkward.

No. Nope, I really don't
"A Conservative MP joined a chorus of social media users falsely accusing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's official photographer of misrepresenting protesters at this weekend's demonstration in Ottawa against COVID-19 restrictions and vaccine mandates."
