Clearly they don't. And of course it is just as logical as the rally up here since it is the states that control the vaccine mandates and not the federal government.
Convoy
PG citizen ^^ has stopped covering Vaccine mandate protests and did not cover the convoy because they are too dangerous
So the Convo is planned to disturb the hospitals tomorrow.

These people really are crazy. I hope that these blockades don't result in someone getting hurt (like Charlottesville).

You know your demonstration is going well when Hospitals are issuing memos warning their employees to wear plain clothes to work to avoid being targeted and harassed because they're wearing scrubs.
Toronto police service suggests that street clothes are worn when coming to the hospital - not clothing which identifies you as a hospital worker,” a memo sent to hospital workers and obtained by CP24 states.
Police are also advising “out of an abundance of caution” that staff at hospitals including Women’s College, Mt. Sinai and Sick Kids avoid the downtown core this weekend if they are not working....
Meanwhile in a separate memo to staff, Mount Sinai said that those working this weekend should “make every effort to avoid identifying yourself as a health care worker,” including keeping their ID badges “concealed until you need to use it for screening purposes, and potentially for any police checkpoints.”
Additional security will be set up around the hospitals during the “Convoy for Freedom” demonstration scheduled to take place at Queen’s Park, beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday.Isnt that what they call a false flag? Creating fear when there is no indication of danger, just a chance that you may get stuck in traffic and run out of battery on your tesla.
It was based on the published 'Convoy' route for Saturday in Toronto, which passes virtually every healthcare facility in their downtown core, clearly intending to disrupt services. Now their published route for Vancouver, on the same day, is also passing by healthcare facilities. If I had to guess, there will be similar protests in most communities.
There is a lot of overlap between the the 'convoy' and the Canadian Frontline Nurses Association, which is the fringe group that organized the hospital protests earlier this year and were harassing healthcare workers. My wife was working at our local facility and 2 of the nurses working in her unit returned from their lunchbreaks and were verbally harassed while waiting for the crosswalk signal.
I think being skeptical is healthy, but I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss justified concern voiced by law enforcement and excuse reports of bad behavior.

Of course there is going to be..... Everyone has a right to protest yes? Wonder if critical mass is mobilizing? Funny how the cops shut that down, along with the bike rave event....Which was a blast. A bunch of douchebags in lifted trucks honking their horns, driving around the city all day snarling traffic is OK tho.

Is it the clean water for everyone, or the no more Trudeau as PM that the hospital workers and hospital patients have control over?
Just trying to understand what exactly is the goal of the Omicronvoy.
For the convoy supporters here, are there any lines that the protestors could cross that would cause you to no longer support them?
That's a poor question as it treats all the convoy protesters as a monolith. It's the same problem with the general distaste for the convoy and any support for them in this thread. Same thing is seen in the covid thread when any objections to current regulations come up.
For the record I'm not opposed to these people protesting, we have freedom to do that. I do have a problem with them buzzing hospitals, harassing nurses and medical staff.
I had no idea we had so many mentally unstable people in this country.

I agree, I just think it's important that we realize that not everyone there is as described in some of the posts. Do people think we are getting an accurate view of this thing from the media that are there?

There’s such a thing as ‘too much benefit of the doubt’.

You guys do realize the convoy is basically world wide news right?
Stories about wackos and racists get eyeballs and views. Don't get the idea that people are laughing with them. They are laughing at them.
Believe it or not, this convoy seems to be inspiring to some people. As in, "finally someone's or some group is standing up and ...". I would've said doing something but then you people would've had a free field day with it.
And yes, I just Don Cherry'd myself.
Internal combustion is awesome it gave us like 10nfsdt and furiouses
May have already been gone over. Something that bothers me somewhat, is as we are starting to see a possibility of provincial mandates rolling back, like Dr Bonnie eluded to back in December, is that the convoy folks will take credit for that. This will likely embolden them to push this anti government movement further. What will come next? What will be the end game for them? Will life just go back to normal, whatever that is, and all be forgiven? I have a hard time believing that.
