Oh, I didn't know that when the closures started and the lands started being sold off for housing development, in 1982, that the NDP was in governemnt. Thanks for pointing that out.

While the Socreds finished it. The blame has to be shared by all parties as it was under all their watches the cutting of mental health facilities occurred.
It's interesting how the slashing of mental health care facilities happened as psychiatric drug prescribing became more wide spread.
