will those portable pumps that plug inTO a cigy lighter seat a UST tire?

I think you need a compressor with tank for that which then won't be portable ?

OP didn't ask for a compressor that will seat a UST tire. He asked for a small, portable compressor that will ensure that car tires are correctly inflated.

I run a cheap small compressor in the home shop that fills my 10 gallon steel storage. I found that the compressor needs to fill the storage to at least 120psi, close to the max. The storage is more then ample to seat UST. When I go on a planed off road outing I throw the mini compressor in the 4x4.
