Nothing like a cold refreshing ale after a ride.
I have been enjoying Brash knuckles by Granville island brew.
Grass hopper wheat ale by Big Rock
Stanley park has a nice Belgian style amber ale.
These are simple refreshing beers that taste good cold.
Any other recommendations for a refreshing summer beer?

four winds berliner weiss is a pretty damn good summer refresher; low abv, a bit tart; yum. their saison is tasty as well.

p49's apricotopus (apricot sour wheat) is another tart refreshing thing. was pleasantly surprised, as i'm typically underwhelmed by their stuff.

White Bark Witbier from Driftwood is a fantastic summer beer, but I like to savour it a bit. I'd be happy chugging a Mill Street lager after a good ride. Kind of a pilsner.

As far as refreshing summer beers go - I'm really liking Steamworks right now. Both their Pilsner and their Kolsch really hit the spot post ride. Even better when served in a frosty glass:)

I find a cold pilsner is he best way to quench your thirst on a hot summer day. Four Winds have a winner again. It's easily my favourite local brewery these days.

Shaftbury four-twenty brilliant lager. Tall cans in the low end price range. Simple and refreshing.

Moosehead. Very unfashionable but it's good.

haven't tried that yet. usually avoid pilsners, but 4w is firing on all cylinders; may have to give it a go.

Another vote for the Parallel 49 Jerkface 9000. I don't like most wheat ales but that's a good one..

I ride bikes, when I can.
