I think the search for survivors of the Franklin Expedition takes precedence ..

The path of the Franklin Expedition is verrah important! We need to know they got where first so we can claim sovereignty over the area. The we can sell all the oil rights to the newly opened routes (opened by global warming … which doesn't actually exist, much like the ice that used to be there). Thank you king Steve!

When many people suffer from a delusion, it is called religion.

The WMO’s data for 2013 shows the global average level of atmospheric carbon at just under 400 parts per million, about 40 percent higher than in pre-industrial times and higher than in any other period in at least 800,000 years…

…Global concentrations of methane — a byproduct of farming and fossil-fuel extraction, as well as numerous natural processes — are now 21 / 2 times as high as they were at the start of the industrial age, in the mid-18th century, the report said…

…Studies extrapolating from the fossil record suggest that the rate of acidification is now “unprecedented, at least over the past 300,000 years,” the WMO said.

I guess Harper considers the Inuit (who lived there for thousands of years) are less "Canadian" than a bunch of British guys from 1845. Typical.

Harper is teaching Floridian's.

Sigh.

Flordia should be leading the charge on this given the tiny bit of coastline they have.

Cut Florida off from FEMA funding if the storms aren't real. Sea level rise is a bitch when you got that much coastline.

Florida Isn't the Only State to 'Ban' Climate Change

Didn't Haper/PMO get in to trouble telling Environment Canada something similar a few years ago?

Blueberry harvest started in May in the Fraser Valley … of course, that could be natural climate variation and scientists just getting lucky.

Some more facts: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Projections_of_population_growth

Seems the jury is still out.

Unfortunately for sustainability based on North American resource consumption rates the global population would need to be around 2.2 billion.

That is only if everything is based on today's rates. Necessity is the mother of invention. Cheap power could change the picture significantly.
