lol
He says "the change in sea level varies from place to place", and he backs that up by stating that some piece of land had risen?
Doesn't discuss atolls in the Pacific that are no longer habitable because they're under water. Doesn't say anything about the fact that the sea levels have risen 8 inches in the last hundred years, with almost half of that occurring in the last quarter century.
Tripe.
So this guy cites rationing as a necessity. Better get that drean bike now, cuz, you only allowed one. For life!

Eco-socialist Ian Angus provides a brilliant example: Ian Rennert, a high-emitting criminally neglectful magnate from the extraction sector, is obscene in his consumer life style, but as a capitalist his mines cause 85 times more arsenic, 41 times more cadmium and 13 times more lead than is safe; 99% of children tested in proximity to his Peruvian mine had blood-lead levels that vastly exceeded WHO limits [6]. Mining destroys the soil and forest carbon sinks. Real climate action would entail rationing his personal energy use and shutting down his mines. Non-tradable rationing would allow him to heat or cool one bedroom and one bathroom out of 25 of each in his primary estate, and his other properties could be re-distributed to the homeless and to immigrants for housing under the humane application of eminent domain [7].
fuck yeah!

Didn't anyone get the memo? It's not called climate change anymore, it's called extreme weather.
This tweet was good:
You need to figure out a way of saying this without all those facts, in some kind of headline, that means people can still fly around in planes full of steak

I've seen that picture recently. And as a photoshop whiz something about it seems phoney. I'm not saying it is, but the fact you can't see the ground just beneath the water is a little suspect.
I really hope misinformation isn't been spread around as it's not going to help the cause.

Oh right, so its ice underneath the water. When I saw the image it didn't actually say anything about that.
Good to know it's not fake but sad to know its real.
We keep increasing our CO2 output day after day, but the answer has to be nuclear power. People need to start taking this option seriously and we don't need alien technology to build it.
Did Canada actually declare a climate emergency one day and approve an oil pipeline the very next day.

Yep. Like declaring that the house is fire and then deep frying some chicken.
And yesterday Trump rolled back regulation on coal plants.

Same day, I believe.
