What are people's thoughts on China and the Japanese Exception? Thats a youtube search for anyone unfamiliar with it but you cant really misinterpret it.

The flooding is also ridiculous but looks to be a good response.

That doesn't dismiss the fact that the CCP suppressed and hid info from the WHO that would have had a significant impact on preventing the global spread of covid.

Doubt it. We're pretty good at intelligence gathering so I don't believe for a second that in december of 2019 we didn't know exactly what we were dealing with.

Are you talking Canadians, Americans or Chinese?

Love this...

“The United States always wants to exert pressure on other countries by virtue of its own strength, thinking that it is superior to others. I would like to tell the U.S. side that there has never been a country in this world that is superior to others, nor should there be, and China will not accept any country claiming to be superior to others. If the United State has not learned to get along with other countries on an equal footing by now, then it is our responsibility, together with the international community, to give the U.S. a good tutorial in this regard….”

Great news that the two Michaels are coming home tomorrow.

I guess any question of whether they were being held as retaliation for Meng Wanzhou is settled.

So glad they are home. This was a tough nut to crack. I hope they get compensated somehow. Considering how much money the mincing pimp has thrown around, he could throw some their way.

Was reading a bit about that last night. Definitely seems no bueno. Can't remember the name but there's one more company to follow. I think zh had the article covering it since they "called it" or evergrande failing some time ago.

But what happened to Meng? Or what caused her to be free?

Nothing like taking hostages to get your way. Yes she should have been put in the slammer.

committing crimes,

So what exactly did the 2 Michel's do and if this wasnt blackmail over the Meng thing how did they get released so fast ?

It would be simple tit for tat thing to have put meng in a womans facitlity with a free pair of orange PJ's, instead she was wearing designer & living in a Shaunessy mansion, I think she was able to do a masters while waiting Meng is basically " Chinese royalty "

so now everyone is out of prison / Shaunessy there is no reason to be diplomatic, whats next ?

the big question is will China continue to arbitrarily detain citizens of another country cuz it worked once,

China has no real friends will it be necessary for western powers to gang up on China ?
