Seriously, this country is fucked beyond belief.
Say what you will about individual rights but if they hadn't done that they would be looking at tens of millions dead by now.
Just wait until it starts exploding in the states. China did the necessary thing. Something we are incapable of doing because people are so hung up on their rights.
Slowly but surely business is coming back online in China. They seem to have weathered it for now. It helps that they all save money too. When you have a year's living expenses socked away like almost all Chinese people do, not going to work for 3 months isn't gonna bankrupt you. How many Canadians or Americans can afford to suddenly take a year off work?
China had a crisis. We're gonna have a fucking disaster.

I think a large part of the reason it go so bad over there was because they were so slow to acknowledge what was going on and to take measures against it. has a western govt ever done anything swiftly and efficiently? probably, and probably on more than one occasion as well. BC and Canada has been pretty good so far based on what I'm seeing in the news. much better than what's going in the US anyway.

As someone who is on both Tik Tok and 豆音 I can happily report that this is total bullshit. Ugly, disabled and poor people are all over 豆音and many have millions of followers.
