China Syndrome
Former B.C. MLA Richard Lee was detained for 8 hours, separated from his family & his government issued cellphone searched by Chinese authorities at Shanghai 4 years ago. Then he was forced back onto a plane & sent back to Canada. He told the Canadian government about it but they said nothing until he went public, then they had a comment. The spineless mincing pimp Trudeau has no backbone to stand up to China. Yet another Canadian public official that has sold out to offshore interests.
This is always the sort of comment that I never really agree with. I could give two shits about Justin, but you name me one Canadian politician who would have the stones to stand up to China. They are like the hand that feeds. Our population and economy pale in comparison.
What's Trudeau gonna do? Threaten military action? Slap tariffs on their goods? Ask for the UN to impose sanctions?

And it's not just Canada. What is anyone to do? Trump started his trade war and I don't think it is on Xi's top ten list of things to give a shit about. We let China leach off the global economy for decades and they banked it.

Yup we were all too happy to buy up cheap consumer goods and now just about everything is manufactured over there. We have no clout and neither does the rest of the world. China controls the monopoly board.

Air travel is the best way to catch a virus, so when you land you don't even know you are sick. This screening system that YVR is using is laughable. Do they have eye scanners like in I am legend?
