If you have WiFi your cell provider might support WiFi calling. I know that Rogers does.

I'm using a Galaxy S7 on Rogers, and it works...

So I ended up phoning these guys (as you were all pretty useless on this topic - except Switch - he deserves reps): https://www.freewaycom.ca/
They recommended a Fusion4Home at $565.00.
I'm going to do one last check on getting a landline first, but will probably order one of these units.
