Car Head Unit / Stereo Question

I feel like there are some people on here with deep product knowledge in this area. Keeping things short, I am on the hunt for a new head unit with rear USB (powered) so I can toss an external HDD on there with my music and be good to go.

Here is the catch:

FLAC compatible and [HTML_REMOVED] $300… $200 is ideal. Also hopefully not looking like a space exploration on my dashboard. It seems like older units have the rear ports more than newer so I am open to dead stock or used.

There is a ton of stuff over $400 and also front USB seems to be what's what. I would compromise for a front SD slot that can read 256gb or larger.

Rear AUX is also a plus.

I've got this kenwood , finding rear usb was tricky and this was the only one I was able to find..
I've had to pull the fuse on it twice to reset it, apart from that its been good Sounds good and apart from the flac meets all them requirements.

Ha Ha! Made you look.

Pioneer has FLAC and USB support. Might also have both DIN and double DIN.

I put a double din 3773bt Ken wood
Unit in this year . It has rear or front USB depending on how you install it.
I bought it from crutchefield which includes instructions, tools and parts for specific vehicle install.
Would do it again for sure.

My JVC has 2 rear USB. One of them is needed for the bluetooth dongle so effectively single rear USB.

It's a few years old but it was [HTML_REMOVED]$300 new.

If double din is ok, Kenwood dpx792bh. I just picked up Vision''s S. Van's last one @ $198. This unit may be disqualified based on the space exploration aspect.
