funny. they certainly looked burly enough, and they were all over the "never been broken" thing, but mine cracked at the headtube as well. they were cool with replacing it, however (and said it was the first frame they ever had to warranty). the second one was raw as well; ended up polishing it - looked pretty pimp - but had it stolen soon after. replaced it with a black one after that. neat bikes.
I think they said that to everyone.. the headtube was a weak spot the weld was very wide. But I sure could not break any of the others even my friend who put a new Monster T on my Pink and white one and could not break it. Also I think the Large frame le toy had more issues then the small frame
Yeah the nurses are super nice.. I think I score points for 'spending my last days' here and not out doing somthing else. To bad I got me a GF haha
Spent more time with the girl she opened up a lot more and seems way more happy. asked a ton about stuff I could not answer but still I think it took her mind of the sickness and stuff. do it all again Monday on the holiday.

I dont know how many hours I spent on that one website outta seatle (the name escapes me at the moment, but they had all the best boutique manufactures- clifcat, FTW, brookly machine works 24, evil etc.) picing together dream bikes and shit.

How do people not jump on an invite like that? I've got the issue of 1,200km to the ride start, but otherwise it sounds like a great way to spend a day.
I'm down with that, I'm not bad on a bike and quite good at beers and appies.

what time works best for people? 1pm maybe finish around 330 4? I dunno I am the one that is the most flexible.
The current hourly forecast calls for showers potentially beginning around 4, so ending around then wouldn't be so bad. Of course, I think we're all familiar with riding in a bit of rain. ;)
Forgive the Vancouver newb question, but does anyone know if Tap [HTML_REMOVED] Barrel has a place to lock up bikes in plain sight? I only have my trail bike built up at the moment, and I can't really risk it getting left unattended.
