They did but I'd have to ask my parents . It is a type of lymphoma or lymphomic cancer? It just goes nuts on my blood and cells I think. I think it had a 2 year survival rate for ones caught early.

I'm sure drugs will work but it's not that important. Tomorrow I'm heading to vgh to talk with some staff to see if they want or need anyone like me to talk to or be someone's buddy to hang out with like big brother who dying lol.

My parents are just a wreck. My mom took the rest of the year off work.My gfs parents are trying to see me as much as possible. Now I'm trying to pay off as many debts as possible so my gf is not left with em

You can't inherit or transfer debt though?

Ross, it sounds like you still have a pretty positive attitude about all of this. Thanks for keeping it real.

This trip to Kelowna was definately an undertaking - Liam and I had been planning this project for 24 hours. We worked really hard to pull out all the stops in this video. We had slo-mo goggle shots; time lapses; pedal flips; outrageous product shots; unloading and loading the bike; walking through the field with your hand in wheat. At the end of the day this trip was all about just getting out and riding with all my friends.

There is a great book out there called How to Die Broke. The idea is to transfer any assets that you have before you pass and then to go nuts on any debt vehicle that isn't linked to any survivors (ie. cosigners, guarantors etc.) For e.g.. If you aren't married, with joint debt, VISA can't get anything from your estate if there are no assets in your estate.

well that sounds good. gf and I are common law that is the only scare but i guess if its not really binding anywhere.. then I guess I better take a look at that book. I was told by VGH to go to Jim Pat cancer centre in surrey so now off to there. I will always be happy. no matter what is going on in life, always take everything 1 day at a time. Now my time just has a timer that is ticking down from xx:xx time left.. hah

Can't say how impressed I am with your positive attitude, Ross. I think I would be crying every day if it was me. Either that or mad as hell, or prolly both. You are the man! I think they'll appreciate you talking to some folks at Jim Pat Center in Surrey.

i ran into you once, ross - riding up fromme. you were scoping out digger's rock (on a letoy hardtail). i later heard you hucked the thing (there was a vid clip; anyone have this?), and realized what a badass you were. pretty sure you were the only person to drop that on a ht. something to be said about going out on your own terms; your attitude towards life [HTML_REMOVED] your composure are inspiring. we're all here for a finite time; we could all use the occasional reminder to take life my the horns. you're an asset to this community, as frustrating as it can be at times. thanks for being you, and reminding us of the priorities.

I am searching for that clip and have been for a while. That as my first of my 3 Le Toy 3's I had. With Sherman Sliders forks. that was my second time on fromme. I think there is a mini VCR Tape with the recording of this still on it.

Edit I have nothing from before 2005.. which sucks

I am sure someone else Hit this on a HT before me or shortly after me. I was the if your not on a HT your doing it wrong.. then I built a SxTrail while working at OGC and.. well life changed.

So JP Cancer centre said they would love to have me talk to a few teens struggling with being stuck in the hospital and not have a life.. so id just go talk about whatever do whatever they can between treatments etc. so I will be starting that Monday.

Maybe if it still looks owed like that. But rather it go to someone who will ride it and not have it sit.. I'd never want it separated from the forks

That's good that the JP Cancer centre will let you talk to some teens, I'm sure your sense of humour will help them out.
I don't think your parents will ever be the same, we are not programmed to go to our children's celebration of life.
One of the hardest things I had to do was go thru pictures and make a video for the service.
If you have someone that is good with video editing they might help you with that.
Had you put any thought into having a celebration of life that you attended, that might sound weird but it's something my family discussed.
Aside from ripping the scooter to Tofino is there anywhere else you would like to ride, California maybe with a bit of sunshine?
