Hey man, don't know you, we've never met or anything but you're in my thoughts. I'm not the type to pray for people, but I'm thinking of you and your family, hoping this goes well. All anyone can do is be glad we have the modern health-care system that we do, and hope for the best.
I just spent 6-8 months helping my Mom-in-law through leukemia - chemo, drugs, the whole enchilada. All the stuff you're dealing with now sounds all too familiar.
I know that VGH has great doctors and nurses, so I know you're getting the best care possible.
I also know that there's probably nothing I can do or tell you that'll make this any easier (it's gonna be tough, no lies - but you've probably figured that out by now.), but if there is anything, anything at all I can do, please reach out.
the only advice I think I can offer you is to stay as positive as you can.

Well I get to push a button now to put me in happy land. The nurses are hot.. I got a window room with a view. Feeling pretty good. My roommate here is a 38 yearold guy with a tumor in the knee so we both get wheelchairs to go cause havoc. Life is goood
