i ran into you once, ross - riding up fromme. you were scoping out digger's rock (on a letoy hardtail). i later heard you hucked the thing (there was a vid clip; anyone have this?), and realized what a badass you were. pretty sure you were the only person to drop that on a ht. something to be said about going out on your own terms; your attitude towards life [HTML_REMOVED] your composure are inspiring. we're all here for a finite time; we could all use the occasional reminder to take life my the horns. you're an asset to this community, as frustrating as it can be at times. thanks for being you, and reminding us of the priorities.

I am searching for that clip and have been for a while. That as my first of my 3 Le Toy 3's I had. With Sherman Sliders forks. that was my second time on fromme. I think there is a mini VCR Tape with the recording of this still on it.

Edit I have nothing from before 2005.. which sucks

I am sure someone else Hit this on a HT before me or shortly after me. I was the if your not on a HT your doing it wrong.. then I built a SxTrail while working at OGC and.. well life changed.

So JP Cancer centre said they would love to have me talk to a few teens struggling with being stuck in the hospital and not have a life.. so id just go talk about whatever do whatever they can between treatments etc. so I will be starting that Monday.

Maybe if it still looks owed like that. But rather it go to someone who will ride it and not have it sit.. I'd never want it separated from the forks

That's good that the JP Cancer centre will let you talk to some teens, I'm sure your sense of humour will help them out.
I don't think your parents will ever be the same, we are not programmed to go to our children's celebration of life.
One of the hardest things I had to do was go thru pictures and make a video for the service.
If you have someone that is good with video editing they might help you with that.
Had you put any thought into having a celebration of life that you attended, that might sound weird but it's something my family discussed.
Aside from ripping the scooter to Tofino is there anywhere else you would like to ride, California maybe with a bit of sunshine?

well i was given a motorcycle course so mos tlikely i want to take that course and then try… and get a big tour bike and head across the USA. maybe like a Ducati Multistrata… I don't need much return on investment. but we will see how that goes in the next few weeks.

Good stuff, that would be a nice ride, the riding position is a little higher easier on the wrists.
That sounds like a fun trip, it's getting sunny and warm in socal and Nevada, just gotta get thru the pass into California without snow.
There are DH races in Fontana and bootleg canyon Nevada in feb and march, usually World cup pros are there, might be worth checking out.

It's nice to see the community support and I think I speak for everyone that no matter what you decide to do, or not do - that support won't waver.

Sick ass bike and Cali? WTF not!

Ross if you're looking for some good thrills, you MUST take that multi to a track day or two. Even as a novice rider there's a ton of fun to be had in the controlled beginner groups.

The Italian bikes are sweet but lemons abound, just plan your trip around ducatti shops.

I really like the new 900's Yamaha is cranking out.
