Anyone here live / used to live in Campbell River? I may have an opportunity to move up there in the near future, wondering what its like? Any insight would be appreciated.

That's the problem with cities, they're refuges for the weak, the fish that didn't evolve.

I don't want to google this - sounds like a thing that NSMB will be better at.

Great place, small town. Tons of riding, fishing, camping, etc. If you love the outdoors, you'll find lots to do.

as with many smaller centers in BC, bring your own women.

Got that taken care of. We would have to bump the wedding date up so she could live north of the border though.

So according to Adam West, the best part of living in Campbell River is getting out of Campbell River.  That stacks up to what I know about CR.

C to tha Riv, CiRi, "The place that spends several years and thousands of dollars in excruciating hair pulling and prevaricating about a single traffic circle"?

I'd choose Campbell River over Victoria to Nanaimo region most days of the week.
