Bruce jenner is gone, and now she has arrived.

Discuss.

I am happy for her

Also worth noting, the change into caitlyn has made Bruce a more attractive woman than his ex wife lol. That's gotta sting a little.

Should go blonde. It worked for Quagmire's old man, it may work for Bruce/Caitlin

I'm happy for her too.
Looks like she's trying to hide early-onset bingo wings though.

LOL. I had a buddy who once commented how an auto shop can swap out your vehicle's transmission in an afternoon, but it seems to take some LBSes days to get the smallest thing looked at.

Pretty much, and they wonder why we all buy our own tools and everything.
When I asked:
"Hey, can you guys get this 3 PC crank installed this week for me?"
You would swear by their response I was asking "can you take these raw materials and forge me a complete bicycle in six hours?"

Can you just show up at the auto shop and they do it the same day? Do they have 20-30 other cars parked inside waiting for transmission swaps too? How many mechanics do they have working?

Not really the same thing, IMO. But I think you'd be surprised how much faster the turnaround is when you're a loyal customer than when you're trying to get them to install some parts you bought elsewhere ;)

I read that differently and thought it was a tranny joke.

There is a 1 week wait for service at both the local LBS CUZ its the fucking busiest time of year … how long have you known your bike was fucked ?

at least the transgendered people have a legitimate reason for a little procrastination

If shops sold something other than avid, shimano and SRAM, I'd gladly buy my parts from them, either way, it takes a lot longer to do most work on a vehicle vs a bike and I've been to plenty of "walk in" style garages that do same day turn around…
How much money does one have to spend in a shop to be a "loyal customer" anyway, 5gs?
